Lawrence Liang
Creative Director and Producer
Lawrence Liang is a Chinese Australian artist, storyteller, and experiential designer from Sydney. His practice centres on immersive urban activations and outdoor public artworks that explore human connection, the passage of time, and the everyday choices that shape our futures.
Lawrence’s work is grounded in architectural phenomenology, using light, space, materiality, and technology as instruments to shape emotional sensitivity and sensory experience. Working at the intersection of art, architecture, engineering, and interactive design, he creates works driven by curiosity, aiming to bring moments of joy to those who stumble upon them.
Alongside his art practice, Lawrence has practiced both as an Architectural Designer, Urban Designer and Structural Engineer.
